Rose Onyekwe (Nursing Dept.) received a doctoral degree of Nursing Practice from Walden University. Dr. Onyekwe writes, “Besides being the most liberal nation on earth, the United States of America is unarguably the only nation where numerous opportunities abound and where people irrespective of their cultural, ethnic, religious, social, sexual or allied orientation, are given the free will to exercise the pursuit of happiness. The template of Freedom truly exists in America and this template provides the opportunity for prosperity and upward social mobility through dint of hard work in a society that neither recognizes nor inputs any barriers. The conferment of this Doctor of Nursing Practice degree on me, lays credence to the greatness of our nation and it speaks monumental volumes of the true meaning of the "American Dream.”
