California Federation of Teachers held interviews for California Senator November 19th at the Burbank CFT headquarters.

The Glendale College Guild Public Information Officer, Dr. Troy Davis was one of the participants in the interviewing process along with President Pechtalt, Jessica Ulstad, and other diversified faculty and classified employees of a variety of colleges in the Los Angeles area. The two districts that were the focal point of the interviews were district 25, which includes Glendale, and district 35, which includes the greater Los Angeles areas. Our main concern, of course, is district 25. At the end of the interviews, the CFT interviewing panel voted to endorse Anthony Portatinto over Mike Gatto for district 25 and Warren Furutani for District 35. A more detailed report will be presented at the next membership meeting.
