1955 – Workers guaranteed annual vacation and bereavement leave | ||
1959 – Workers win Classified Bill of Rights | ||
1959 – Workers given 40 hour work week, overtime and one day of sick leave per month | ||
1975 – Workers guaranteed collective bargaining rights | ||
1980 – Employers prohibited from requiring sterilization as a condition of employment | ||
2002 – Workers win protection against Contracting- out of classified work | ||
2010 – Workers win CalPERS Retirement Service Credit During Furloughs | ||
2012 – Classified employees win 60-Day Layoff Notice | ||
2013 – Classified employees win Staff Development | ||
2013 – Employers required to give prior written notice before making changes. |
