The Patrons Club of Glendale Community College held a luncheon for its scholarship recipients on May 19 at the J. Walter Smith Student Center, hosted by the Culinary Arts Department.

This year, the Patrons Club awarded 38 scholarships and numerous grants-in-aid to deserving students, with a total amount of $23,399 distributed. Funds for these scholarships are generated from the yearly fundraiser luncheon and silent auction, which this year will be held on November 4, at the Oakmont Country Club in Glendale.

This year’s recipients are Ala Babakhanians, Caitlyn Fong, Tatianna Giron, Kevork Anouchian, Davit Harutyunyan, Andrew Ovakimyan, Natasha Van Brynke, Garooneh Avanessian, Suren Najaryan, Jacqueline Postajian, Sharyn McCreedy, Pegah Mirshahidi, Johanna Tang, Jeff Hernandez, Carol Miranda, Emily Keshishian, Inessa Yesayan, Ryan Beauchamp, Nathaly ValldeRuten, Andranig Adjemian, Alis Balayan, Jaqueline Stamboltsian, Rinet Apelian, Nicholas Brayley, Philip Malijan, Aida Ohadi Kabir Maghsudlu, Karissa Scheiern, Tracey Aivaz, Scott Yamamoto, Joao Hernandez, Juan Silva, Yeraz Benlian, Tomomi Sato, Robert Ortiz, David Molina, and Lisa Mekhitarian.
