As a reminder, the ACCJC has updated the process for how the accreditation validation takes place. The ISER is now due almost a full year before the visit; our due date is December 15, 2022. The ISER will be reviewed by the ACCJC Team the following Spring 2023, and they will deliver an initial report at that time. The report will consist of “CORE inquiries” and “areas of concern.” The report will be issued to the College in the Spring of 2023, almost a full semester prior to the evaluation visit. Those additional months (in between the initial report and the evaluation site visit) will provide the College ample time to address any inquiries and/or areas of concern and make corrections, if necessary, before the ACCJC Team arrives on site for the evaluation visit. Below is our current timeline:

Timeline for Accreditation
Spring 2021 Workgroups were finalized, training, and writing drafts began
Fall 2021 Workgroups continue their work on the Standards
Spring 2022 Workgroups submit Standards to relevant Governance Committees for input
Summer 2022 Final editing for entire ISER
Fall 2022

  • Oct. College Exec & BOT have 1st Read
