Let us start with the main website.

There are many resources found within the “faculty and staff” page. You can access this page by scrolling to the bottom of the Glendale.edu home page or find it within “About GCC” on the gold bar. You can also just type in “governance” after .edu

As you can see, the left side menu in grey lists the many resources available to you.

Want to understand more about what the charge is of each governance committee?

The “Blue List” is a great document that provides information on each committee meeting time, mission statement and membership. www.glendale.edu/bluelist

Governance on SharePoint

Now I’d like to bring your attention to our intranet portal (inter-webs?). I’m talking about SharePoint. Thanks to I.T., and the Office of Communications for undertaking the huge task of moving all of our content over to the NEW SharePoint. What’s new? First of all, a VPN is not necessary to access this SharePoint. A visitor need only to login using their email login.

And oh my goodness, check out the fresh new look!

This is a screenshot of the “Committees” landing page. Here you’ll find pages for the Academic Senate and its subcommittees, the Governance page, and the staff and faculty unions (CSEA and Guild).
