As President of Classified Council, I would like to thank everyone for their generous support of our last two fundraisers: the Nachos Fundraiser and the Tupperware Fundraiser. Both events were quite successful, and it is always a pleasure to see everyone make an effort to support us.
We are looking forward to our presentation on Campus Safety which will be in the Student Center on Thursday, November 14. Chief Gary Montecuollo will be our guest speaker for this event. Everyone is welcome to come and see how much they already know and/or need to know about the different scenarios that might occur on our campus and how we would respond. This event is open to the campus community.
Our Winter Holiday Party will be at the Acapulco Restaurant in Glendale on Thursday evening, December 5. All are welcome to attend and if you are a Classified Council member, you only pay $20 – so become a member today! Members enjoy discounts to the Winter Holiday Party, a free lunch at the Classified Employees Week Picnic, birthday recognition, as well as an opportunity to make new friends!
