Market Volunteer Campaign at the Montrose Farmers Market
Carolyn, Armineh, and Ramela campaigning for Noncredit ESL at the Montrose Farmers Market
Thanks to volunteers Ida, Carolyn, Armineh, and Ramela, our first farmers market campaign was a success! Many shoppers knew someone who could benefit from our services. After this successful venture, Garfield’s Noncredit ESL program will be looking to expand into other local farmers markets in the communities that we serve.
Food Pantry, ESL Cafe, Garfield Counseling
The Food Pantry services are available to current Garfield students. Items at the pantry include items such as toiletries and fresh food from Trader Joe’s.
Noncredit ESL: The Learning Café
The Learning Café provides students with extra practice in reading, conversation, grammar, and test prep.
