Paul and Denise Fejtek Book Signing

Paul Fejtek, son of GCC faculty member Stela Fejtek, and his wife Denise, daughter of GCC faculty member Sharon Lencki, will share their exciting story about their Seven Summits Quest at a book signing at the Glendale Public Library on Wednesday, January 25, 2012 at 7 p.m. Entry to the event is complimentary and open to the public.  All of the proceeds from the sale of the book will be donated to the Challenged Athletes Foundation.

Paul and Denise were both born and raised in Glendale and met in a geometry class at Hoover High School. After high school, they both attended GCC and went on to graduate from their respective universities. Fewer than 300 people in the world and only a handful of married couples have ever climbed all of the Seven Summits, the highest mountain peaks on each of the seven continents. On May 23, 2010, Paul and Denise reached the Earth’s highest mountain, the 29,029-foot Mt. Everest, which was the final mountain in their quest of the Seven Summits for CAF.

Paul and Denise will share some exciting stories and lessons found in his soon-to-be released book, Steps to the Summit—Reaching the Top in Business and Life. They will discuss what it takes to train, prepare and select the right team to help get you to the top. The presentation also includes high definition video from the summit of Mt. Everest.

Stela and Sharon extend a special invitation to all the Glendale College family. &
