Glendale College Television: Gateways to Glendale College

People often ask what I enjoy most about producing the Gateways to Glendale College television show.  While it's wonderful to share our brilliant faculty and staff, guest lecturers, and events with our viewers on Charter Cable channel 15, AT&T U-verse channel 99, and YouTube, there is nothing like featuring our amazing students.  After taping a concert by the GCC Vocal Jazz Ensemble, directed by Mrs. Clare Delto, our Gateways host Deb Kinley and I had the pleasure of interviewing Mrs. Delto and some of the musicians, who spoke of their experiences with the GCC Music Department.  You can see the tremendous talent and affability of these students in this video of the interview, which also presents an excerpt from a recent concert by the GCC Vocal Jazz Ensemble:

The students were clearly very excited about performing for the GCC 85th Anniversary, where they, as well as students from the GCC Dance Department, Culinary Arts Department, and others from the Music Department truly did make the event a tremendous success.  Please enjoy a short video montage of the GCC 85th Anniversary event below:
