Chaparral Survey Report: What Do You Want To See?
This report summarizes the key findings from the "Chaparral: What Do You Want to See?" survey conducted in November and December 2024. The data highlights respondents' content preferences, suggested ideas, and engagement experiences.
Overall Considerations Based on Survey Feedback:
- Expanding use of mixed media content to engage the audience but not video only columns
- Incorporating more employee stories, current issues locally and in education, and positive community features
- Bringing back historic content favorites such as Milestones and Building Bridges (or something similar)
Overall Data and Summary:
- Of the survey respondents, most (43/51) would like to see Building Bridges return to Chaparral. Additionally, respondents (39/51) wanted to see Milestones. Other suggestions for historic content include alumni news, personal columns to get to know people, and a calendar of events.
- Of the respondents, most preferred a mixed media approach to content which includes the use of text, pictures, audio and video. This was followed by, in order of descending preference, the use of only text and pictures, text and links, audio interviews and lastly video interviews.
