Public libraries responded to COVID-19 by making it easier to obtain an electronic library card (eCard). You can use an eCard to access digital resources including ebooks, audiobooks, magazines, films, TV, homework help, online classes, and more.
Consult the list below and visit the library's website to apply for an eCard.
Click here to sign up for an e-card. The e-card can be converted to a physical card at any of the reopened Glendale Public Libraries (and then you can use it to access resources at the Pasadena Public Library, too!).
Click here to sign up for a Digital Library Card at the LA County Library. You may visit any of the reopened LA County Libraries and get a full access card, or upgrade an existing Digital Library Card.
If you live in Los Angeles County and need a library card, you can get immediate access to the LAPL collections without first having to visit a Los Angeles Public Library location through an e-card. click here to do so.
