1. Locate persistent search box at top of screen, that is, the search box that is always visible on the top of the ALMA home screen:​
2. Set search parameters using the two drop down menus and then select the magnifying glass (search) icon:

a. In the first drop down menu in solid background on the left, selection based on item type, e.g., physical title, electronic title, etc.

b. In the second drop down menu, selection is by fields, e.g., ISBN, barcode, Call number, Title, etc.

3.  A new screen will popup up listing all possible matches.  Clicking on the "Other details" link will display more information on the item.
