Faculty Guide to Streaming Media

 

This research guide provides an overview of online streaming

video available through the Glendale Community College Buster_Keaton-Carol_Holloway_in_The_SapheadLibrary.  

 

The Library provides access to streaming video through online subscription database collections. Use this guide to learn more about streaming video, captioning and copyright, and tips on embedding video in Canvas.

Assistance

Off-campus access GCC Library's subscription resources and databases, including online articles, streaming video, and ebooks requires your GCC email and password. If you already logged into Canvas through our Single Sign-On (SSO) portal, this step is bypassed. 

If you plan on using any Kanopy titles more than 60+ times over 12 months, please request a Kanopy licenses.

For feature and foreign films, documentaries and some television, please check the SWANK catalog. To request access to a title you use in class:

Contact your liaison librarian for other available options if you cannot find a film you previously used in the classroom.
