What is PrepStep?

How to embed PrepStep modules in Canvas

1. Navigate to the Assignments page and click the +Assignment button
2. Assign points (you must assign points for the assessment to show up in the Gradebook)
3. Set the Submission Type to External Tool
4. Click the Find button and click EBSCO LearningExpress, then click the Select button
   
5. Unselect the box next to Load This Tool In A New Tab
6. Adjust any additional settings as needed (Assignment Name, Due Date, etc.)
7. Click the Save & Publish button
8. Launch the newly created assignment
   1. Note: If the app linked to the assignment is launched for the first time, then the “Register your LTI Advantage App” page is displayed. If this appears, enter the Access Key/Authentication Token [C5C63AE2-C905-4128-A1ED-C27C0F67246B] and click the Submit button.
      
9. Select the appropriate options from the Center, Category, and Subcategory drop downs
10. Click the Preview button to preview the PrepStep content
11. Click the Select button to assign the content in your course
    
12. If you have successfully added the content as an assignment to your course, a message reading "Congratulations! You have successfully added this EBSCO LearningExpress® resource to your course" will be shown.
