This is a selection of academic journals that focus on LGBTQ history, theory, and issues.

  • Gay & Lesbian Issues and Psychology Review, the Australian Psychological Society
  • Gay & Lesbian Review Worldwide: mission to promote equal rights and equality for all sexual and gender minorities, advance the intellectual life of LGBT people, and educate a broader public on LGBT topics
  • Journal of the History of Sexuality illuminates the history of sexuality in all its expressions, recognizing various differences of class, culture, gender, race, and sexual orientation
