The GCC Archives is part of the Glendale Community College Library.
Monday - Thursday: 9am - 5pm
Friday: 10am - 1pm
Due to limited staffing and budget, please allow 24-48 hours advance time to retrieve and prepare materials for research use.
Due to COVID19, all visitors to the library must show vaccination status by stopping at one of the check-in stations to receive a wristband before entry into the library. We appreciate your understanding regarding this requirement.
Because the GCC Library is closed during remote instruction, please fill out this form, if you have an inquiry about the GCC Archives. For research inquiries and questions, please contact a librarian at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Glendale Community College Archives
The Glendale Community College Archives was established to serve as the institutional memory of GCC, by collecting materials related to the origins, goals, and history of the College, including department records, photographs, GCC periodicals and publications, and other archival materials.
The Archives also aims to provide information services that will assist the operation of GCC, and serve research and scholarship for the GCC community. We welcome inquiries by students, faculty, and the public.
The Glendale Community College Library has partnered with the Pasadena Digital History Collaboration (PDHC) to launch a web-based digital exhibition with curated photos and documents from the GCC Archives. The project is part of a larger effort to digitize and describe the historic collections at the GCC Library.
