For instructions on how to access the GCC databases from off campus, visit http://gcc.glendale.edu/gcclibrary/research/images/remoteAccessInstructions.jpg

Remote access to databases is limited to current GCC students, staff and faculty.

You can find a list of databases here, but to get started, try searching CQ Researcher to help research legal topics:

CQ Researcher

CQ Researcher provides original, comprehensive reports on current events. Each report includes background information on an issue as well as pro and con arguments and maps and graphs that provide statistical information. For legal topics, browse topics and click on the "Law and Justice" section.

ProQuest

In ProQuest, you can search for newspaper, magazine, and journal articles about legal decisions and cases. Some keywords to try include theses:

legal decision* OR decision

legal case*

Federal supreme court

California supreme court
