The official national website for the United Daughters of the Confederacy contains both primary and secondary sources relating to both the legacy of the UDC and the current controversy around Confederate monuments. The UDC collects and preserves rare books, documents, diaries, letters, personal records, and other papers of historical importance relating to the period 1861 to 1865. The Goodlett Memorial Library, located at the UDC Memorial Building in Richmond, Va., is the repository for this collection.
