Use OneSearch to find ebooks

In OneSearch, use the Books filter to limit your search to books. Although the library is closed, you can request print books by following these steps. You can also use the Available Online filter to filter for only ebooks, which you can access online.

REMINDER: it's highly unlikely that you will receive zero results for a search on any of these topics, but if you do, then be sure to check your spelling - that's usually the problem.

When you want to access an e-book from the results list, click on the title and on the page describing the book, find the box that has the link to the online version and click where noted.

You will next be asked to sign in GCC's Portal Login (the same login you use to access Canvas) and after you sign-in successfully, you will see a description of the title. You then have the choice of reading the book online or in some cases, the ability to download to your personal device.
