What We Do
We are a club dedicated to allow students a platform to participate in activism and discussions regarding women’s issues and its various intersections. For example transphobia, ableism, racism, classism, and other forms of marginalization affect the degrees of oppression that women face. Over the course of history women have made significant strides in overcoming inequality; however there is still much room for improvement, and in the fight for equal rights many women have been left behind. We must fight alongside women of color, trans-women, women with disabilities, poor women, and other women who are often overlooked in order to create a truly equal society. If you are interested in taking a stand, attend Feminist Society meetings!
To provide students a place to engage in activism and discussion regarding misogyny and its various intersections. We are stronger together than we are alone, and we aim to unite women and allies on campus as we fight for women's liberation.
