Literary Criticism

This guide will help you get started with your research in literary criticism and theory. It features resources that are available in the Glendale College Library, both print and electronic as well as links to subscription databases and online resources.

Accessing Library Resources Remotely

To access any of the library's databases or your account in OneSearch remotely, simply use your Canvas login and password. Login is not needed anywhere on all GCC campuses.

Literature Databases

The library offers students several literary criticism databases to search for articles about short stories, dramas, poetry, and other works of literature and author biographies: Gale Literature Resources, JSTOR, ProQuest Literature Databases, and Salem Literature.

To learn more about each resource, mouse over the "Literature Databases" to the left, and select your database of choice from the list underneath.
