Each academic division is assigned a liaison librarian, who serves as a primary contact for information about library programs, resources, and services. Library liaisons attend division meetings throughout the semester. Contact your liaison for the following services:
Recommend materials to purchase for the Library's collection.
New tenure-track faculty may request the purchase of new books to address any collection inadequacies related to their field or to courses they are teaching or designing. In addition, we invite you to help us evaluate the library collection in your subject area. Flex credit is available.
Are you developing a new course for your department or division that will be going through the Curriculum and Instruction (C&I) review process? Library Liaisons work with faculty on reviewing the library's collection to ensure that current, high-quality resources are available to support the class. These materials may include print books and ebooks, journal and magazine subscriptions, reference materials, OER materials, streaming media, and other types of resources.
