The library is circulating books to currently enrolled students, staff, and faculty in a safe, contactless manner. Please note that we are only offering this service from the Verdugo Library.
How it Works:
Place a request for a library book using OneSearch. See instructions below.
After you submit the request, you may receive an email from the OneSearch confirming receipt of the request. This is a system-generated email and NOT a confirmation the book is ready to be picked up.
You will receive an email (to the email address that you entered when making the request) from the Library Circ Desk (firstname.lastname@example.org) within 3 business days. This email is sent by library staff -- it is NOT a system-generated email. The email contains information about how and when to pick up your book(s).
After you receive that email, the book(s) will be placed on a cart outside of the Verdugo Library. Please wear a mask when coming to campus to pick up your book(s). Happy Reading!
Other Things to Note:
The check-out length for print books is extended until the end of the semester.
For the duration of remote learning, the library will not be charging for overdue items.
Students may request up to 3 books at a time; faculty and staff may request 6 books. Students may have a maximum of 10 books checked-out at a time; staff and faculty may have 30 books.
You may return books at the book-drop in front of the Verdugo Library at any time on or before the due date.
Some books from the Verdugo Library are not able to be borrowed, including those on Library Reserve, or in the Reference Help collections. Books marked as "Unavailable" are not able to be borrowed.
Unfortunately, we are not able to offer this service to alumni, retiree, or reciprocal borrowers at this time.
