Membership Drive

Now that fall is in full swing, it is time to focus on membership. For our 2017 Classified Council members, that means it is time for renewal. For those who let their membership lapse last year or who have never joined before, please consider signing up! Dues are only $7 per year.

About Classified Council

For those new to Classified Council, it is an organization open to all classified employees, providing staff development opportunities, philanthropic activities benefitting students, birthday recognition, and off- and on-campus events and opportunities to get to know colleagues. Members get a free lunch at the end-of-the-year picnic in June and a discount on dinner at the off-campus holiday party. Member birthday recognition includes a lottery scratcher ticket. Non-classified employees are also welcome to sign up in the “Friend of Classified Council” category. For an idea of what our events are like, be sure to take a look at the photo gallery that can be found on the website at www.glendale.edu/classifiedcouncil. The membership form is also online and includes an area for you to specify any committees you would like to serve on or activities you would like to see Classified Council offer to employees.

If you are unsure of your membership status, you can check it on SharePoint! Go to https://sp.glendale.edu/classifiedcouncil/ and enter your name.
