Shout-out to Web Coordinator Patricia Chamroonrat and Graphic Designer Ann Simon, Both in the Office of Communications and Community Relations from Michelle Stonis, History:

A huge thank you to Patricia and Ann for being resilient, hard-working, and affable colleagues who always get the job done. I can always count on them. Thank you, Patricia and Ann! I'm thankful to work with you both.

Shout-out to Sevada Avakian from Andy Stires, Learning Center:

I just want to thank Sevada for being super dependable and helpful this semester. We're down two full-time positions, and Sevada has continued to perform admirably and help keep our operations running smoothly. I couldn't have done it without him!

Shout-out to Francien Rohrbacher and Sarah McLemore from Heather Ramos, English:

Thanks so much to my amazing English colleagues and mentors! Both Fran and Sarah have helped me navigate the tenure process while also unexpectedly becoming a caregiver. They've both made me feel seen, heard, and cared for. I am beyond grateful for their support in my success at GCC in a way that recognizes my life changes beyond my career. Their support has confirmed that GCC is a wonderful community to be a part of.

Shout-out to Susie Moran, Social Sciences Divisions:

I want to thank Susie for all her hard work and kindness. Our entire division is better for having Susie around and she deserves to know how special she is!

Congratulations to Sharis Davoodi, Classfied Council President, for her win as the inaugural recipient of the Pasadena City College EWD Los Angeles Change Maker Award recognizing Excellence in Workforce Development and Student Success at the Future of Workforce Conference 2023.

Shout-outs to Jennie Quiñónez-Skinner, Aisha Conner-Gaten, Rebecca Cooling, and Susie Chin from Heather Ramos, English:

Muchas gracias to our awesome librarians! With the uncertainty caused by the cyber incident, I was lost at how to help my students continue the research process. Jennie and Susie recommended I bring my in-person classes to the library, and then Jennie, Aisha, Becca and I helped my students find/access sources (including books!). My students appreciated all the assistance they received, and it was a great reminder for me that I'm part of an awesome TEAM at GCC!
