Welcome back to the Spring semester!
It's time again for our very own Garfield union meeting! If you have questions, if you'd like to get involved, or if you would just like to get some Flex credit, please attend!
At the meeting, there will be a delicious variety of sandwiches provided by the Garfield Cafe. Also, our Guild officers will be attending from the main campus to answer questions and give information in order to support faculty and increase solidarity as a union. Please come if you have the time.

In other news:Garfield has jumped on the "BANNERwagon”—again! You read right; promotional banners have been flying across and around the Verdugo Campus since the mid 90's but not since before the construction of our new Mariposa building, (which opened in fall 2011) did Garfield have banners adorning its campus.
Spring 2016 marks their return to Garfield!
The banners are an ideal visibility opportunity for our academic programs, departments, and local businesses in support of our students. Strategically placed, these exciting designs created in vibrant colors, highlight what is great about our college and the Garfield Campus. Reaching out to over 10,000 students, plus hundreds of faculty, staff, family members and vendors who visit our campus each year, the Campus Banner project is a successful fundraiser implemented to raise the awareness of our campus, support learning and student success.
